Cooper Anchors Anderson Cooper 360° from Turkey
Source: CNN Press Release CNN’s Anderson Cooper will anchor Anderson Cooper 360° live from Turkey from Monday, Nov. 27, through Thursday, Nov. 30, to coincide with Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to the predominately Muslim nation next week. In addition to Cooper, senior international correspondent Nic Robertson and faith and values correspondent Delia Gallagher provide live reports and taped segments for the program.Pope Benedict XVI’s trip to Turkey from Tuesday, Nov. 28, through Friday, Dec. 1, marks the pope’s first trip into a Muslim nation following remarks he made about radical Islam. His comments ignited a backlash among some Muslims. His trip has been characterized as a clash of cultures: Christianity and Islam.
For the Anderson Cooper 360° special coverage, “Harmony or Holy War: The Pope in Turkey ,” Cooper interviews Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, who plans to meet privately with the pope on Wednesday, Nov. 29, in Istanbul . For other segments, Cooper, Gallagher and Robertson explore the spread of radical Islam across Europe and the growing antagonism with the West.

American Morning Salutes Troops in Iraq with Thanksgiving Day Tribute
Source: CNN Press Release CNN’s American Morning will pay tribute to the American troops with special packages profiling them and their stories on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. (ET).During the program, viewers will experience a heartfelt reunion between a soldier stationed in Mosul , Iraq , and his parents and his wife visiting with co-anchor Soledad O’Brien on the American Morning set in New York City .
O’Brien also visits with Sgt. Brian Fountaine, a U.S. Army tank commander who lost part of both his legs after an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded under his tank. She interviews Ken Fisher, the chairman of the Fisher House Foundation, an organization that builds comfort homes for friends and families of wounded soldiers including the one in Bethesda , Md. , where Fountaine and his girlfriend have been staying as he undergoes treatment at nearby Walter Reed Army Medical Center .
In addition, the program will re-air presentations of Lou Dobbs Tonight’s weekly “Heroes” tribute to U.S. servicemen and women. Dobbs introduces viewers to veterans from all branches of service from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and displays their heroism in the field of battle.

Family Of Missing Boy's Mom To Sue Nancy Grace Over Suicide
Source: WKMG The family of Melinda Duckett is planning to sue talk show host Nancy Grace, claiming the CNN Headline News host contributed to her suicide, the boy's father told Local 6 News.Grace came under fire for her aggressive questioning of Duckett on the day before she committed suicide on Sept. 8 as crews searched for her missing son, Trenton.
Grace has remained unapologetic about her questioning of Duckett, saying the woman raised red flags from the very start.
"Local 6 has just confirmed that Melinda Duckett's family is planning to sue Nancy Grace, claiming the Headline News host contributed to her suicide," Local 6's Bob Frier said. "That is according to Trenton's father, Josh Duckett."
This week, Grace was in Central Florida to work at Team Trenton and the search for the boy.
"I actually took vacation time to come down here from Court TV to come work at Team Trenton," Grace said. "I'm a crime victim myself and as opposed to going into private practice and being a public servant my entire legal career, after being profoundly affected by being a crime victim, I think every person has blessings and talents that they can use, and in my case, I feel obligated to use them to help crime victims. And that is why I am here. It is just that simple.
"Why Trenton?" Local 6's Lauren Rowe asked. "Why do you think this has captured everyone so much and yourself?"
"When I look at Trenton, just his look seems to be saying, 'Come find me, help me,'" Grace said.
Recently, Trenton's father gave Grace credit for keeping his son in the national spotlight.
"A lot of people say it is just a ratings scam, but to me, I've met Nancy Grace and I've talked to her personally while a lot of people have not," Duckett said. "To me, she is very sincere and wanting to help in any way possible and to me she is showing a great deal of accomplishment with everything she is doing."
