Lou Dobbs Tonight Expands to Weekends
Source: CNN Press Room Lou Dobbs Tonight, CNN’s provocative and influential news, debate and opinion program, will expand to seven days a week, airing at 6 p.m. (ET) as Lou Dobbs This Week on both Saturdays and Sundays beginning Saturday, Oct. 28.Veteran broadcaster Lou Dobbs champions the most pressing issues facing middle class Americans on his nightly program as well as in his weekly column on CNN.com and his new book War on the Middle Class. Audiences across the country have responded enthusiastically and extending Lou Dobbs Tonight through the weekend is another opportunity to showcase Dobbs’ unique brand of news and debate.
As one of the leading political journalists of today, Dobbs will be contributing heavily to CNN’s election coverage. Dobbs will co-anchor Election Night, Tuesday, Nov. 7, with Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper. He will also provide his expertise and hard-hitting assessment of the state of the nation in three special reports: “War on the Middle Class” on Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 7-8 p.m. (ET); “Broken Borders” on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 7-8 p.m.; and “Democracy at Risk: E-voting’s Threat” on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 7-8 p.m.
