CNN + CBS?
According to Broadcasting & Cable, Viacom/CBS Chairman Sumner Redstone still thinks that it would be just amazing to add CNN to its news division. For some reason, I like this idea. It would be interesting to see Larry King's exclusive interviews on the CBS Evening News, or maybe see Katie Couric back at CNN? That is if she makes the jump to CBS. Or what about the morning shows merging? The article also mentions a CNN competitor, FNC, he says "They are doing great because of showmanship." So who knows maybe he'll try to go after them as well? This will be interesting to follow in the coming months and you can count on us to keep you posted.
