Is the Name NewsNight OR State of Emergency?
A tipster responds to this morning's Gail Shister's article about the addition of Anderson Cooper to NewsNight or whatever it will be called.
Here's the first one received this morning: "Maybe he should tell his advertising department the same thing he told Shister as 'new' promos have been running on CNN since Saturday morning as follows; 'State of Emergency with Anderson Cooper and Aaron Brown (voice over, graphics have Aaron Brown and Anderson Cooper) starting monday at 10pm". Doesn't mention or show the word "NewsNight" anywhere. One could say Kleins' actions speak louder and truer than his words ever do.
Then this one was received a couple of hours later: "To comment and tip sent earlier this morning, CNN, under pressure from several sources, is now, after 12 noon, running new promos for 'new' NN. Graphic, no voice over, now reads; 'NewsNight, (smaller font), State of Emergency, (seperate line large font); Aaron Brown (lst line); Anderson Cooper (2nd line). As always, all subject to change.
Additional: 06:30 pm ET This from an e-mailer: "Both cnn.com and the PRiMETIME Newsletter from cnn are calling the show "NEWSNIGHT"!!!! just 'NEWSNIGHT' "
