Dan to CNN? Let the Rumors Begin
These CNN fans got the scoop Tuesday night when Larry King announced former CBS anchor Dan Rather would be hosting Larry King Live this Saturday night. I bet this opens up a big can of worms.
Additional: 4:25pm ET Here's what actually was said on LKL Tuesday night:
KING: Very proud to announce that Dan Rather has sat on this side of the chair hosting this program. And he will host one of the weekend shows this weekend, when we cover Rita live. It will either be Saturday or Sunday. We hope it's not necessary, but it looks like it's going to be covering.
AND this from a tipster: "For the record, Dan is STILL UNDER CONTRACT TO CBS for "60 Minutes" but don't let the actual facts get in the way of a rumor!"
