Columnist: Stop Watching Cable 'News'
Here we are with another article about the over coverage of the Natalie Holloway story. But William W. Savage III of The Oklahoma Daily offers up some good advice, if people would just stop watching the coverage, the channels would move on to something else:
"Be your own information filter, and don’t be distracted by pointless coverage designed to pull heart-strings and boost ratings. The benefits of TV news are extremely limited, and if people stopped watching, eventually their proliferation would cease."
