More Speculation on WHO Might Fill CBS Evening News Anchor Slot
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel TV/Radio columnist Tim Cuprisin recently in an online chat speculated even more on who MIGHT be in the running to fill the CBS Evening News Slot:
Q: Have you heard about a permanent replacement for Bob Scheiffer on the CBS Evening News ??
A: Tim Cuprisin - No, names are still floating around, like Bill Hemmer, who recently left CNN when they wanted to move him out of the morning anchor slot and put him on the White House beat. There's also talk that Aaron Brown may be leaving CNN. He'd be interesting in the slot.
There are a few more questions in which cable news coverage is mentioned. Ya might want to check out the chat transcript HERE. (free registration required)
