A Little Bit of HLN on CNN/I
It seems one feed of CNN/I was plagued with some techinal difficulties yesterday(eastern time). This post is from the CNNfan forum:
From 0030 GMT onwards, CNN Today experienced difficulties with its Hong Kong link-up.
A report on Iran's president-elect and his link to the Iran '79 hostage takings was shown without introduction. Martyn Jeanes did the weather without introduction as well, as did Terry Baddoo with sports. After Terry's sports update, Martyn took over introducing a TechWatch report from the Weather Center.
Asia was fed into the technical difficulties graphics for little more than a minute. We were then introduced to Sophia Choi (from CNN HLN, apparently) at CNN Center's International desk. She explained what was going on and went ahead with CNN Today. Sophia's great! Put her on CNNI!
At the top of 0900 Hong Kong time or 0100 GMT, headlines began. As graphics of the Israeli protestors in a Gaza hotel were shown, Andrew apologised, for the last time, for the technical difficulties of the past half hour and continued with CNN Today from Hong Kong.
