CNN/US Anchor to Host Special on CNNRadio
Source: CNN Press Room CNNRadio will air a special live one-hour program discussing child violence that will include experts in the field and guests who have been impacted first-hand. “Sexual Predators: How Safe Are Your Children?” will be hosted by CNN anchor Tony Harris for the nearly 2,000 CNNRadio affiliates. The program will air live Thursday, July 28, from 2-3 p.m. (ET) and will be produced by CNNRadio supervising producer Maria Boynton.The program’s scheduled guests include Ernie Allen, president and CEO of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children; Erin Runion, mother of 5-year old Samantha Runion, who was kidnapped and murdered in 2002; Heather Lackey, a police detective in Peachtree City, Ga., responsible for the arrests of several on-line sexual predators; and Mickey Goodman, a freelance writer for Atlanta Magazine who has reported on child sexual exploitation.
