CNNRadio Uses Magazine-style Format to Cover Varied Topics for Affiliates
Source: CNN PressRoom CNNRadio adopts a magazine-style format for its next long-form program for affiliates, enabling the network to cover a myriad of issues ranging from computer security to online journalism to Harry Potter in a single hour. CNN Headline News anchor Renay San Miguel hosts the program for the nearly 2,000 CNNRadio affiliates.The new CNNRadio program will air live Thursday, July 21, from 2-3 p.m. (ET) and will be produced by CNNRadio supervising producer Sherri Maksin.
“With this new magazine format, CNNRadio provides our affiliates with a broader range of topics and experts and a tighter focus on some of the most interesting stories of the moment,” said Jerry DeMink, vice president, CNN News Services. “This format is a great addition to our long-form programming for affiliates.”
