Woodruff: "I want to take a deep breath and think about what sort of longer-form journalism there is out there"
Markus over at CNNfan scored an interview with Judy Woodruff who will be signing off tomorrow as anchor of Inside Politics. When asked, "What lead to your departure at CNN?" Woodruff has this to say:
"After a career of daily deadlines, and while I still have plenty of energy and enthusiasm for journalism and life, I want to take a deep breath and think about what sort of longer-form journalism there is out there. I've been wanting for a long time to have more control over my schedule, and to do some writing, public speaking and part-time teaching."
