AOL Portal To Offer Free CNN VOD
Source: Media Week America Online will begin offering free on demand video from CNN.com through its newly launched free portal.

CNN.com had previously licensed news content for AOL's subscriber service. Now, as AOL reinvents itself as a free portal available to a general Web audience, the site will begin offering free news video from CNN as part of a renewed licensing agreement.
CNN.com just launched its free video service to consumers last week after previously
charging to access the content. Now, with the online video advertising market growing, the news giant has elected to open its online video to users, supported by pre- and post-content TV-quality ads.AOL.com, which is currently in beta test mode leading up to a full-fledged launch later this summer, will provide users access to a selection of on-demand news clips each day.
