Man Mistaken for Ex-terror Suspect Sues CNN
Source: Democrat & Chronicle A Pittsford, NY man is suing two more media organizations for mistakenly using his photograph in place of that of a one-time terrorist suspect with the same name.
Asif Iqbal filed a second lawsuit suit Friday in state Supreme Court in which he claims that cable news giant CNN and a widely circulated Arab-language newspaper each used the misidentified photograph in 2004.
Iqbal claims CNN used his photo to illustrate a story about the British Iqbal in May 2004 on the CNN International and CNNfn channels.
