FNC Speaks Out On Cosby's Leaving
Source: Variety FNC has confirmed all the speculation on the internet in tht Rita Cosby wanted a prime-time program. An FNC rep had this to say to Variety: "She became expendable because she wanted a primetime show and we didn't have a spot for her."
MSNBC execs say the net's primetime sked hasn't been finalized. Cosby's show, which is in development, will debut in the fourth quarter. She also will serve as a special correspondent at the net.
Makes one wonder if Geraldo will meet the same fate.
