FNC Host Leaving?

Source: New York Post (registration required) GERALDO Rivera appears to be trawling for a new job.

The war reporter and news-show host, who reportedly took a $3 million pay cut in 2001 to join Fox News Channel, is quoted in the recent edition of the Atlantic Monthly saying: "It's hard to be a show of record when you're on weekends."

UPDATE: 4:10pm Additional from article: His four-year deal with the nation's most-watched news network expires in November. And Rivera wonders aloud if sticking with Fox is right for him.

"The problem with Fox and me is they're wildly successful," he says. "Where are you going to put me? Who are you going to knock out? Every single slot is filled."

"From 3 o'clock to 11 o'clock, they've got a hit show. Where would they put me? I don't know . . "

DCG Comments: I am thinking Ailes won't let Geraldo go anywhere. Ailes will just put a little more $$ in Geraldo's pocket and he'll be glad to stay. FNC and Geraldo is a marriage made in heaven or maybe he$$
