CNN Correspondent to Speak at National Women’s Hall of Fame Dinner

Source: Finger Lakes Times CNN news correspondent Maria Hinojosa will be the speaker at the National Women’s Hall of Fame signature dinner June 4.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at the New York Chiropractic College. Entertainment will be Johnny Russo’s East Hill Classic Jazz Trio, along with silent and live auctions.
Hinojosa is a New York-based correspondent for CNN, covering urban affairs. Since joining CNN, she has covered numerous stories and events for the network — including the Amadou Diallo case verdict and CNN’s Sept. 11 coverage, which earned her two Emmy nominations.
Hinojosa was the first Latina woman to produce a documentary for CNN Presents, a program titled “Immigrant Nation: Divided Country.”
