CNN/US to Cover Royal Wedding
Source: CNN Pressroom CNN will provide comprehensive coverage of the Saturday, April 9, wedding of Prince Charles to his longtime girlfriend Camilla Parker Bowles. CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Becky Anderson will anchor the coverage beginning at 6 a.m. (ET) from the Harte and Garter Hotel on Windsor High Street, providing a view of Windsor Castle and the crowds.
Live coverage will include the couple’s church blessing from the Archbishop of Canterbury in the castle’s St. George’s Chapel in front of an audience of 750 invited dignitaries, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip and British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
CNN International’s Matthew Chance, Paula Hancocks and Richard Quest will contribute to the coverage with reports from the crowds gathering around Windsor Castle.
