TV Week: Former NBC Producer (Now Producer at CNN Center) Top Candidate for "AM" Position
Source: TV Week Word is that Kim Bondy, who left NBC News to become an Atlanta-based VP and senior executive producer for CNN in 2001, is the leading candidate so take over "American Morning." Ms. Bondy, a former "Weekend Today" producer, is credited with having helped convince former "Weekend Today" co-anchor Soledad O'Brien to leave NBC News to become co-anchor of "American Morning."
