Charles Barkley To Get Air Time On CNN

The outspoken basketball commentator not only extended his agreement with TNT's "Inside the NBA" studio show through the 2007-08 season, he also carved out a recurring role on HBO sports programming and on CNN.
Barkley, who is in his fifth season as an NBA analyst, said he wanted to branch out beyond basketball and "raise the consciousness on other important issues facing our country today."
On HBO, the 11-time NBA All-Star could appear on HBO's "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel," "Inside the NFL," or with Bob Costas. CNN could use him to comment on breaking news.
