Soledad O'Brien To Speak As Part Of Distinguished Speaker Series At Penn State
Source: The Digital Collegian Award-winning journalist and CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien will speak at 8 tonight in Eisenhower Auditorium as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series.
Matt Midles, Distinguished Speaker Series committee chair, said he expects O'Brien to focus her speech on her experience in Thailand and show some clips from the tsunami disaster. "It will be very interesting," Midles said. "It's not just her speaking; she will be showing images and all sorts of things. It will be very interesting for people to know what [the disaster] was like."
