CNN and Multichoice Join to Form Journalism Awards
Source: World Screen News CNN is teaming up with the pan-African broadcaster and platform operator, MultiChoice Africa for the CNN Multichoice African Journalist Awards.
For the past 10 years, CNN has already been involved with The CNN African Journalist Awards, which have celebrated journalistic excellence on the continent. More than 100 African journalists have been recognized for their reporting of Africa over this period.
Now CNN is joining forces with Multichoice to further its recognition of excellence in journalism in Africa. ðThe competition has grown over the last 9 years, and today is recognized as the most prestigious journalist award in Africa," said Chris Cramer, the managing director, CNN International. "We are delighted to join forces with MultiChoice, who have a strong presence throughout Africa. They will provide the logistical support needed to sustain the continued growth and visibility of the event on the continent."
