Where Are They Now
Today we feature Bill Delaney. From 1998-2002, Delaney was CNN's Boston bureau chief. He served as CNN's Berlin bureau chief from 1995-98, covering the war in Bosnia, neo-Nazis and their opponents in Germany, economic crises in Europe and the death of Princess Diana. As the chief correspondent in CNN's Jerusalem Bureau, from 1992-1995, he reported from Israel during the middle of the Palestinian uprising until two and a half years later following the Oslo Agreement between the Israelis and Palestinians.Prior to joining CNN, Delaney worked as a South American correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor Television. He also worked for five years as a Latin American correspondent for ABC News.Delaney won a 2000 Edward R. Murrow Award for his coverage of a major earthquake in Colombia. He also received a CableACE Award for CNN's coverage of the 1996 Russian elections. What's Bill doing now? Earlier this year, Bill was at WBUR in Boston where he served as co-host of the station's Here and Now program. But in May 2004 Bill left WBUR and that leaves us still wondering, what's he doing now?
