CNN Sending in Re-Inforcements
It seems CNN is slowly moving in more correspondents/reporters to the tsunami ravaged area. CNN's Senior Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta arrived and reported Live from Sri Lanka during News Night Tuesday night. Gupta joins a slew of CNN staff already in the region that have been reporting the latest developments since Sunday. UPDATE: According to Variety(sub req'd) Gupta joins seven other CNN reporters in the region: four in Sri Lanka, two in Thailand and one in India. Fox News sent only two reporters and crews to the beaches, as did NBC, whose Baghdad reporter, Kevin Sites, had been on vacation in Thailand.
BTW, if you've enjoyed the overnight simulcasting of CNN-International on CNN-US the past couple of nights why not send CNN a "thank you." You can do that by going HERE. And while you're at it, tell them to start programming CNN-I overnight, everynight on CNN-US.
