CNN still in Second Place

Source The Washington Dispatch: New Media giant Fox News flexed its collective muscles in the third quarter of 2004 besting the combined competition of its rival cable/satellite networks. The numbers are astonishing. According to Nielsen Media Research, Fox News pulled in an average of 1.8 million viewers while CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and Headline News combined reached 1.7 million viewers. Fox had 9 of the top 10 top programs during the third quarter of 2004. Only CNN’s Larry King could break up the sweep, nabbing 6th place. MORE
